The Mavic Pro Platinum noise has been reduced by up to 4dB* (60% noise power) andextended flight time to 30 minutes with new FOC sinusoidal driver ESCsand 8331 propellers for a quieter, more enjoyable flight experience.

The Mavic Pro Platinum is only 1/6th the size of the Phantom 4 but this reduction in size doesn't mean a reduction in flight time. The Mavic actually flies much longer than you would expect from its compact size. It is capable of reaching an absolute maximum flight time of 27 minutes and a maximum distance of 8mi (13km) due to its powerful, high-efficiency motors.
The Mavic Pro Platinum supports 4K video at 30fps. No Electronic Image Stabilization is used, ensuring all footage is 4K. We have created a miniaturized, ultra-precise 3-axis gimbal for the Mavic, capable of stabilizing the camera even during high-speed motion for smooth video and sharp photos.

The DJI MAVIC Pro is DJI's smallest flying camera, featuring a fully stabilized camera, Intelligent Flight Modes and Obstacle Avoidance inside a revolutionary folding design. It captures 4K videos and 12 megapixel photos, and is capable of both ActiveTrack and TapFly making complex shots effortless.

Camera and Gimbal: You can shooting 4K video at up to 30 frames per second and 12 megapixel photos. This technology makes that look crisper and cleaner than ever, all stabilized by the compact onboard gimbal.

Flight Controller: The next-generation flight controller has been updated to provide a safer, more reliable flight experience. The aircraft is able to automatically return to its home point when transmission signal is lost or battery level is low. The Mavic Pro aircraft comprises of a flight controller, video downlink, propulsion system and an Intelligent Flight Battery. This section introduces the features of the flight controller, video downlink and other aircraft components. Return-to-Home (RTH) function brings the aircraft back to the last recorded Home Point. There are three types of RTH: Smart RTH, Low Battery RTH, and Failsafe RTH.

Aircraft can sense and avoid obstacles when Forward Vision System is enabled and the lighting conditions are sufficient. The aircraft will automatically climb to avoid an obstacle and fly to the Home Point at the new altitude. To ensure the aircraft returns home forwards, it cannot rotate or fly left and right during RTH while the Forward Vision System is enabled. Forward Vision System can be enabled during flight or RTH only.


A new powered battery combined with the new proppeler design will save effort to keep it in the air.


The design is different from the previous Mavic Pro.  The noise reduction is very important in the Mavic Pro Platinum and the proppeler was design with this intention.


The Front LEDs show the orientation of the aircraft. The Front LEDs glow solid red when the aircraft is turned on to indicate the front (or nose) of the aircraft (the Front LED can be turned off in the DJI GO 4 app). The Aircraft Status Indicator communicates the system status of the flight controller. Refer to the table below for more information about the Aircraft Status Indicator.
